Private Vehicle Access Is Restricted
Reisen Hutte is located halfway up Mount Norikura, within Chubu-Sangaku National Park, along a scenic mountain road known as the Norikura Echo Line.
To protect the fragile ecosystem from over-tourism, private vehicle access is restricted. Only authorized vehicles are allowed beyond certain points. Please be aware that access to the area is limited and plan your visit accordingly.
The most green-friendly and straightforward way to reach Reisen Hutte is on foot.
However, we proudly welcome both climbers and non-climbers alike. There are several access options available, so please feel free to choose the one that best suits your comfort and schedule:
Train + Bus:
Take the JR line to Matsumoto Station, then transfer to public buses and a shuttle bus to reach the mountain area.
Car + Bus:
Drive to Norikura Highlands in your own vehicle, then switch to the authorized shuttle bus.
Train or Car + Taxi:
Take a bus or drive to Norikura Highlands, then continue by taxi to your destination.
We encourage you to choose a route that feels comfortable and sustainable for you—Reisen Hutte is here for everyone.
